IkuGa, the Interkultureller Garten Magdeburg e.V., turned about 2,600 m² of open ground in Neue Neustadt into plots, tools, and a garden hut that everyone can share. People from many countries garden side by side and decide together at regular meets.

How to join

Each gardener tends a bed. Common tools stay in the hut. Open garden hours are posted as events, often from 16:00. Tram lines 1, 8, 9, and 10 stop at Kastanienstraße. A car park sits next to the plot.
