Growing together

The future has many names

The future is already growing in neighborhoods like yours. These global goals are one way to name what you are building: gardens, repair tables, local energy, and gatherings that make cities kinder.

What neighbors are already building

Five doorways into action — each connects to ideas you can start today.

In 2015, the United Nations brought together countries from around the world to agree on 17 Sustainable Development Goals: a shared map toward a fairer, greener, more peaceful planet by 2030. From clean water and affordable energy to thriving cities and climate action, each goal names something worth building together.
You do not need to memorize seventeen goals to take part. Start with what fits your week! The links below show how our categories gently overlap with shared global aims.

About the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Those are goals for people and planet, from ending poverty to protecting life on land and sea. Solarpunker does not run those programs but simply offers a warm, local way to notice when neighborhood action rhymes with them.
