Shop unpackaged and join Frankfurt foodcoops

Foodtura week is a friendly on-ramp to unpackaged shops and a neighbourhood foodcoop in Frankfurt. KlaaKarott opens its doors in Heddernheim, Ulf un:verpackt! runs a fill-your-own day in Sachsenhausen, and Die Auffüllerei hosts kefir and umami workshops on Höhenstraße.

What you can do

• Visit the free KlaaKarott open day on 19 September (bring a cloth bag)
• Spend 26 September filling jars at Ulf (free, all day)
• Book cheese and kefir or the family Umami workshop at Die Auffüllerei
• Try Offenbach's SCAPE° native superfoods evening on 22 September (free)

How it works

Open days need no ticket. Workshops ask for a short email or a small fee. Shops stay open after the festival if you want a weekly bulk habit.

Why it matters

Short supply chains and refill bins cut waste without asking anyone to eat sad food.
