Join the foot-traffic check workshop in Paderborn

Paderborn was picked for the NRW Fußverkehrs-Check. Residents, groups, and the city walk inner-city streets, then meet in the Historisches Rathaus to turn notes into measures. The close workshop on 8 October 2026 is one night in a pattern you can copy: audit pavements together, then ask the council to keep the work going.

What you can do

• Sit in the close workshop on Thursday 8 October 2026 at 18:00 CEST in the large council hall, Rathausplatz 1 (no booking listed)
• Use the same page to see how the July kick-off and September walks were run, if you want to propose a later walk-audit
• Write the city mobility team if you cannot attend that night but want the results

How it works

The land programme funds a short public sequence: kick-off, two walks, then a close workshop. Findings feed foot-traffic planning. Solarpunker does not lead the walks.

Why it matters

A public walk-audit makes pavement width, shade, and crossings a shared civic task, not only a drawing in an office.
