Papyrus-based pads that keep girls in school
Makapads (Kampala, Uganda) makes biodegradable sanitary pads from papyrus, addressing a barrier where commercial pads are expensive and clog sanitation systems. Many girls miss school during menstruation; affordable local production changes that calculus. Impacc lists support as completed, frame as a replicable maker pattern.
