Seongdong Sharing Center in Seoul

Seongdong Sharing Center in Seoul Seongdong Sharing Center is Seoul's flagship sharing library: more than a thousand tools, camping kits, and household goods for low-cost loan, plus rooms neighbours book for clubs and meals. What you can do in Seoul - Sign up on the centre website to borrow gear at a fraction of retail price (Seongdong Sharing Center profile) - Visit Haengdang-dong to see the tool wall, shared kitchen, and rooftop terrace the district opened for residents - Join talent-share circles where repair cafe fixers teach self-repair instead of drop-off service - Reserve the shared kitchen or programme room for your own mutual-aid meetup How to join Create a member account on the sharing centre portal, choose an item or room slot, and pay the small rental fee listed per category. Workers and students in the district qualify alongside residents. Why it matters in Seoul When drills and tents circulate, apartments stay uncluttered and neighbours meet at the counter instead of another delivery app. Good to know - Is the centre unique in Seoul? District materials describe it as the capital's only standalone public sharing hub at this scale. - When is it open? Weekday and Saturday hours are posted on the booking page; Monday and Friday evenings run later than midweek. - Can I host an event? Shared kitchen and programme rooms book through the same portal with modest fees.
