Wildnisinseln hedge day in the Volkspark
Twice a year BUND Potsdam adds wood to the layered hedges around the closed wilderness plots in the former BUGA / Volkspark. Spring and autumn only. Stay outside the islands.
What you can do
- Ask for the next hedge day on Projekt Wildnisinseln
- Bring gloves; the group supplies extra brush
- Keep to the hedge line so the interior can stay process-led
How it works
Two days a year. Not a weekly park shift.

Spring and autumn hedge days. Volkspark / former BUGA park, Potsdam (approximate pin 52.4308, 13.0292). Confirm the meet point with BUND Potsdam.
Why it matters
A hedge day is how an urban mini-wilderness keeps its quiet interior.
