Scythe the Donauinsel Mariaort meadow
The work site is the Danube island meadow in Pettendorf, not the Regensburg office. Volunteers scythe and rake so the island flora can shine.
What you can do
- Offer a meadow day via Donauinsel Mariaort
- Bring gloves; the group names scythes and rakes
- Ask for the meeting point on the Pettendorf side of the river
How it works
Seasonal meadow care. Confirm the next cut with the Kreisgruppe.
When & where
Seasonal island work. Work pin (approximate, Pettendorf / Mariaort): 49.0120, 12.0200. Office is in the city; do not go there expecting a meadow.
Why it matters
A hand-cut Danube island is living habitat you can help keep open.
