Landschaftspflegeverein Dummersdorfer Ufer cares for about 6,000 hectares in the Trave / Baltic bioregion from Lübeck-Kücknitz. Volunteers pollard willows, tend lapwing fences, work the herb garden, count birds, and help with nature education.

How it works

Grazing, willows, and quiet shore on the Trave keep a Baltic estuary mosaic that neighbours can still walk.
