Stadt Erlangen Untere Naturschutzbehörde runs Biodiversitätsberatung (page dated 16.09.2026) and the volunteer Arbeitskreis Stadtnatur. Together they turn public-green sponsorships into bloom for wild bees, butterflies, and people, and they advise residents who want their own patch.

What you can do

• Write to the Biodiversitätsberatung with a patch idea
• Join AK Stadtnatur to tend an existing public sponsorship bed
• Ask about the perennial swap (Staudenbörse) when drought-tough plants are on offer

How it works

City staff and volunteers share the same working group. Solarpunker does not assign a bed: the authority matches people to public green.
