Join the Chemnitz-Zwickau energy co-op in Chemnitz

Energiegenossenschaft Chemnitz-Zwickau eG is a paper-first citizen cooperative. A share is 50 euro. New members must draw at least five shares (250 euro minimum), attach ID copies, and transfer the amount.

What you can do

• Download the natural-person form on Mitglied werden
• Read the statute, add a readable copy of both sides of your ID, and post the pack
• Minors can join with a guardian. There is no additional payment duty (§ 40 of the statute)

How it works

The board decides each application. Members vote at the general meeting and share any surplus the meeting declares as a dividend.

Why it matters

Chemnitz-Zwickau keeps generation and votes in the same region that hosts the plants.
