NABU Oberhausen (NRW PLZ 46xxx, not Bavarian Oberhausen 82386) meets monthly at Haus Ripshorst, Ripshorster Str. 306, on the Essen city edge. The botanical working group and the moor-and-heath circle care for rare heath remnants, industrial-nature sites such as Brache Vondern, and a herbarium shown in the STAUN visitor centre.
