The ADFC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club) keeps local chapters busy with guided rides, workshops, and the big summer gatherings that fill Berlin's boulevards with bikes.

What you can do

• Find your Landesverband on stadtradeln.de/partner-regional and browse their tour calendar
• Join a neighbourhood ride this season through adfc.de
• Plan around flagship events such as the Berlin Sternfahrt, described by partners as the world's largest bicycle demonstration (check berlin.adfc.de for the next date)

How it works

• Regional chapters run everything from Mecklenburg's 300+ annual tours to Thüringen workshops and coding sessions, Saarland summer Fahrradbörsen, and urban tour series
• STADTRADELN lists ADFC as a national partner; kilometres logged during your Kommune window still count toward the municipal campaign when you ride

Why it matters

Club rides turn strangers into route-sharing neighbours and give newcomers a friendly peloton before they tackle solo commutes.
