The Offener Treff is the heart of the Mehrgenerationenhaus Bergisch Gladbach. Anyone can sit, talk, try something new, or help shape the room. The listed address is Buchmühlenstraße 12.

What you can do

• Visit in published living-room hours: Monday and Wednesday 09:30 to 14:00; Tuesday and Thursday 09:30 to 14:00 and 15:00 to 17:30; Friday closed
• Bring a skill, a game, or simply time, as invited on the Offener Treff page
• Write kontakt@mehrgenerationenhaus-gl.de to confirm the current door after the February 2026 move notes on the site

How it works

The house is run with the Protestant parish. News on the same site describes a 2026 move into VHS rooms, while the Offener Treff page still lists Buchmühlenstraße 12. Confirm the living-room door before you travel. Solarpunker does not host the treff.

Why it matters

An open living-room that asks guests to co-design the programme turns a café into shared civic furniture.
