Browse Frankfurt flea market on the Main

The HFM city flea market (Flohmarkt) alternates between the Schaumainkai embankment and Lindleystraße in the Osthafen. You can hunt for used homeware, crafts, and curios with the skyline or harbour cranes as backdrop.

What you can do in Frankfurt

  • Walk the Schaumainkai market between Untermainbrücke and Holbeinsteg on listed Saturdays, 9:00 to 14:00 (HFM market dates)
  • Visit the Lindleystraße site near Ostbahnhof on alternate Saturdays with the same hours (HFM Osthafen dates)
  • Book a stall through the Flohmarktbüro if you want to sell attic finds (no bicycle sales since 2017, per HFM)
  • Combine a morning browse with tram lines 14, 15, 16, or 19 to Schweizer Straße when the market sits on the Main bank

How to join

Visitors arrive on foot; entry is free on the organiser pages. Sellers reserve a pitch via HFM Managementgesellschaft für Hafen und Markt online or at the Flohmarktbüro (office hours listed on the HFM contact page).

Why it matters in Frankfurt

A long-running public market keeps furniture, dishes, and hobby gear circulating instead of heading straight for bulky waste. Neighbours meet while they trade stories along the river.

Good to know

  • How often does it run? HFM lists dates every second Saturday, except public holidays; Schaumainkai and Lindleystraße alternate.
  • Can I sell anything? HFM states that selling bicycles of any kind is not allowed.
  • Other Frankfurt dates from press lists? Car-park flea markets elsewhere in the city are run by other promoters; check their own schedules before you travel.
