Borrow at LeihLa in Fürth
LeihLa is Middle Franconia's first volunteer lending shop, run by Bluepingu e.V. in the Fürth Zukunftssalon (former Fahrschule Lechner) at Marktplatz 4. From cordless drills to clamps, kitchen kit, and board games, you borrow what you need instead of buying it.
What you can do
- Register, wait for activation, then borrow from the LeihLa catalogue
- Visit usually on Friday from 15:00 to 18:00 to pick up or return
- Offer a shift: volunteers are welcome, and you can meet the team during shop hours
How it works
The shop is volunteer-run. Donations help keep the idea going. It stays closed on public holidays. School holidays or events in Tataa! can cancel a Friday. Check the Tataa! calendar before you go. This row is the lending shop, not the Repair Café that sometimes shares the building on a fourth Friday.
Why it matters
A Friday lending window lets Fürth households skip purchases they would use twice a year.
