Attend a district Bürgerforum in Osnabrück

Osnabrück splits the city into eight districts. Each holds a Bürgerforum about twice a year, invited by the lord mayor. You do not need to sign up to sit in. Traffic, schools, and local plans go on the agenda. One listed 2026 evening is 7 October at Diesterwegschule.

What you can do

• Read what Bürgerforen are and pick your district page for the next date
• Send agenda ideas when the city opens the call (about four weeks ahead)
• Sit from 19:30 to 22:00 CEST when a forum is in the room (digital rounds get a morning link)

How it works

Sessions are chaired by the mayor team. The administration minutes the evening and publishes it. Solarpunker does not set the agenda.

Why it matters

A standing district forum is a low-bar way to put a pavement, crossing, or school path in front of council and staff.
