Ask your town to join STADTRADELN in Frankfurt

Not every street is in the game yet. Residents can ask mayors and clerks to register their Kommune so neighbours can ride together next season. Riders stay free; municipalities pay a tiered fee once they sign up.

What you can do

• Share stadtradeln.de/home-kommunen with councillors and show what other towns gain
• Point authorised staff to Anmelden (only the municipality's official contact can complete registration)
• Highlight Land fee support for participating Bundesländer on Partner regional
• Mention network partners folded into regional pages (AGFK, AGFS, wegebund, RAD.SH) without needing a separate programme row

How it works

Klima-Bündnis Services GmbH runs STADTRADELN from Frankfurt. 2026 municipal fees (incl. German VAT) depend on population; amounts below are Klima-Bündnis member / non-member:

• Under 10k inhabitants: 540 / 720 €

• 10k–49,999: 1,075 / 1,425 €

• 50k–99,999: 1,785 / 2,370 €

• 100k–499,999: 2,675 / 3,560 €

• 500k+: 3,565 / 4,740 €

• Extra town under a Landkreis: 280 / 370 €

• Fees bind once registered

• Some Länder subsidise participation (see Partner regional and Klima-Bündnis STADTRADELN 2026)

• BIKE MONITOR offers paid planning analytics from anonymised app tracks; Hessen and small wegebund towns may receive complimentary access

Why it matters

A registered Kommune unlocks the app, RADar!, Schulradeln where available, and a visible results page that celebrates everyday riders instead of waiting for infrastructure perfection.
