Teresina MP3 Cozinha Solidária Meals & Training

Teresina MP3 Cozinha Solidária Meals & Training Cozinha Solidária 20 de Novembro at Movimento Pela Paz na Periferia (MP3) serves free weekday lunches, literacy space, and job training in Teresina's São Pedro district. What you can do in Teresina - Volunteer in the kitchen, dining room, or library wing when MP3 posts open shifts (Piauí government note) - Donate food, cookware, or cleaning supplies through MP3 channels listed on community pages - Join literacy and popular-education circles hosted in the same Refeiteca building - Help sort e-waste drives that fund ingredients through local circular-economy swaps described at inauguration How to join Start at Av. Walter Alencar, 762, São Pedro. Ask for the kitchen coordinator on site. Groups should call ahead so teams can plan stations and food safety briefings. When & where Lunch service runs Monday to Friday, with breakfast and dinner expansion planned; confirm the current meal times with MP3 before you cook or serve. Why it matters in Teresina Hot plates and reading tables give neighbours a daily anchor without shame narratives. Training tables beside the stove turn hospitality skills into paid work. Good to know - Who eats here? Priority goes to people in vulnerability, re-entry cohorts, and youth in open programmes named in the inauguration note. - Do I need a food handler card? Kitchen leads brief volunteers; ask whether municipal health credentials are required for long shifts. - Is this only religious? MP3 is a community movement; volunteers of any background are welcome when they respect house rules.
