The GERCs volunteers host the Glen Eira repair cafe at Caulfield South Community House on third Sundays.
What you can do in Caulfield South
- Bring one broken item for matching with a volunteer fixer between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm (repair cafe events)
- Stay for tea and conversation if you are waiting for a repair slot
- Register through the council link for the next listed 2026 date
How to join
Arrive during the published session. The council lists registration links for upcoming Sundays on the repair cafe page.
When & where
Next listed session on the council calendar: 15 November 2026, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, local time. Caulfield South Community House, 450 Kooyong Road, Caulfield South VIC 3162. Later dates follow the third-Sunday rhythm from February to November.
Why it matters in Caulfield South
A hall full of fixers turns a single broken lamp into a lesson you can repeat in your own kitchen.
Good to know
- Is registration required? The November date links to an online register form on the council page.
- Are repairs guaranteed? Volunteers work to the best of their ability within event time; the house rules explain limits.
