Rhein Clean Up Dormagen Zons
The Zons group meets each year at the Schützenplatz in Stürzelberg for a public Rhine shore cleanup with a shared lunch finish.
What you can do
- Register on the Dormagen Zons listing
- Bring sturdy shoes, drinks, and spades or pickaxes if low water exposes buried litter; organisers supply grabbers and sacks
- Park on Oberstraße rather than the campsite car park

How it works
Open public cleanup the day before the nationwide Saturday action. Vegan and non-vegan rolls are provided at the end.
Why it matters
Rhine branches near Dormagen collect wind-blown litter: a neighbourhood crew with food afterwards turns maintenance into a social ritual.
