Our Neighborhood Solar Power Cooperative welcomes residents who want to learn how citizen solar projects start in Seoul.
What you can do in Seoul
- Review the Sunlight Fund and membership steps on the cooperative site (Sunlight Fund)
- Visit or write to the Jongno office on Pirundae-ro when you need forms explained in person
- Ask how rooftop sites are chosen before you decide on participation
How to join
Use the online application on the fund page, then complete the cooperative's stated membership and deposit process if you choose to continue. Read all terms; this is third-party civic finance, not Solarpunker advice.
When & where
Office hours follow cooperative announcements; address 2F, 23 Pirundae-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul (03039). Fund applications are online anytime the campaign is open.
Why it matters in Seoul
A short visit turns anonymous rooftops into a map of neighbours who co-own clean power.
Good to know
- Do I have to invest? You can read materials first; membership rules on the site define minimums if you proceed.
- Is the fund the only programme? The cooperative also describes installs and education; the fund page is one entry point.
