Pin cool corners before 16 August 2026
Stadt Kempten's Hitzeaktionsplan invites residents to mark shady parks, fountains, Kneipp pools, and libraries on the Mach-Mit Kühle Orte map. Suggestions feed a public cool-place map so everyone knows where to recover on hot days.
What you can do
- Open machmit.kempten.de/kuehleorte, drop a pin, and add a short comment or photo
- Nominate drinking-water stations, tree alleys, and quiet indoor cool spots
- Check the Hitzeaktionstag listing for related Kempten heat events

How it works
Municipal staff review nominations for access and safety, then publish the shared map. A prize draw thanks participants who keep cool tips flowing all summer.
Why it matters
A neighbour-built cool map is mutual aid you can open on your phone when the next Hitzewelle arrives.
