When school trips go to the landfill: and it changes everything
Gabrovo's regional landfill hosts hundreds of students each year for educational visits, giving them direct access to how waste is processed, what happens to unrecycled material, and why source separation matters. The programme is run as an extension of Gabrovo's broader zero waste commitment and makes the invisible infrastructure of waste management viscerally real for young residents.
