Cloth nappies in every crèche: 1,400 tonnes of CO₂ avoided
The City of Brussels implemented washable nappies in municipal day-care centres (crèches), replacing single-use disposable nappies. Zero Waste Belgium documented the programme and published a comprehensive best-practice guide in 2024, giving other municipalities a clear blueprint to replicate the project.
