Make a zine about your district

Deine Stadt! Deine Stimme! with Alime Ertürk invites youth to explore their neighbourhood and publish small zines with illustration, text, typography, photo, and collage.

What you can do

• Join the youth workshop at Heimathafen Wiesbaden (group signup may be required via demokratiekiosk.de)
• Observe your district and turn notes into a personal zine spread
• Share observations and wishes in a low-threshold democratic medium

How it works

Format for teenagers. Contact the organiser for group registration if needed. Free through September 2026.

Why it matters

Zines let young people publish the city they actually live in, not the one on postcards.
