Come to a Gartentreff at the museum plaza
Gartentreff is the open evening for people who already garden on the plaza and people who want to start. Last Thursday of the month, and from May also the second Friday, at 18:00 in the April to October season.
What you can do
- Arrive at 18:00 on a listed Gartentreff evening
- Ask about a free bed if you are new
- Stay for the wider warm-season programme (festivals, music, and art workshops land on the same plaza)
How it works
Indoor-outdoor meet on the plaza, not a silent solo weeding hour. Check the museum calendar if a feast night replaces a Gartentreff.

Recurring in season: last Thursday plus (from May) second Friday, 18:00, April to October. Berliner Straße 23, 67059 Ludwigshafen. Pin: 49.4779, 8.4464.
Why it matters
A standing evening is how a plaza garden becomes a neighbourhood, not only a row of crates.
