Klima-Region Aachen eG funds regional climate projects, including local PV, as a cooperative. Membership is the public path: draw at least ten shares of 50 euro (500 euro minimum). Keep the focus on joining and local generation, not on offset products.

How it works

You apply and draw the minimum shares. The honorary board proposes a return. The general meeting sets it (4.5 percent in the latest published year). Liability stops at your paid-in capital.

Why it matters

Aachen-region plants that lack a bankable sponsor can still go ahead when neighbours hold the equity.
