Repair before replace: with public support

From May 2022, Stadtreinigung Leipzig and SMEKUL (Saxony’s environment ministry) ran a pilot Leipziger Reparaturbonus: residents received support to choose repair over new purchase. Evaluation: 682 products repaired; about 40% of participants said the bonus motivated them to repair.
