Climate Action Center Karachi green campaign

Climate Action Center Karachi runs a Greening Campaign with town meetings and a public petition for cleaner community energy choices across Karachi.

What you can do in Karachi

• Read the campaign map covering 25 towns on the Climate Action Center Karachi site (CAC home)
• Join a local town meeting when your neighbourhood slot is announced
• Sign the public petition if you agree with the stated clean-energy asks
• Share stories from Indus Earth Trust mini-grid reports only as background, not as Solarpunker events

How to join

This is advocacy, not a solar purchase. Register for a town meeting on the Climate Action Center Karachi page or add your name to the petition after you read the text.

Why it matters in Karachi

Coastal heat and outages make energy justice a daily conversation. Town halls turn statistics into faces.

Good to know

• Will I get solar panels here? This campaign organizes meetings; it does not sell hardware.
• Can youth join? Town halls welcome students with guardians when venues allow.
• Is English required? Meetings may use Urdu or Sindhi; listen and ask for summaries.
