Browse Berlin's best-practice energy-saving projects

A citywide map of Energiewende ideas worth copying

Berlin spart Energie has run since 2012 under the city's BEK 2030 climate programme, organised by the Senate department for mobility, transport, climate action, and environment together with EUMB Pöschk. Its free Projektdatenbank collects best-practice building and everyday energy-saving and energy-generating projects from across Berlin, each with contacts you can reach.

What you can do

  • Browse the Projektdatenbank for retrofit, solar, and efficiency examples near you
  • Join free events bundled in the Dialogforum, from lectures to hands-on workshops
  • Book a free WorkshopToGo for your building, school, or workplace group
  • Running your own energy or climate project? Submit it to the database or the Dialogforum at no cost

How it works

Berlin spart Energie bundles project visibility, a shared event calendar, and a monthly "Projekt des Monats" spotlight, so institutions, companies, and motivated residents alike get a stage without organising their own PR.

Why it matters

Copying a neighbour's working retrofit is faster than inventing one from scratch, and a shared, searchable map turns scattered good examples into a movement.
