Fix Gear at OpenFab Tunisia Repair Cafe, Tunis

Fix Gear at OpenFab Tunisia Repair Cafe, Tunis OpenFab Tunisia hosts Repair Cafe meetups in Tunis where neighbours mend laptops, lamps, and gadgets beside shared tools instead of buying new. What you can do in Tunis - Bring a broken device to a free, open repair cafe session (OpenFab Repair Cafe #6 listing) - Learn soldering and troubleshooting from makers who document open hardware on diy.tn - Visit MAKE Plastic workshops that shrink the recycling chain for barbacha (informal collectors) (MAKE Plastic project) - Join the wider FabLink community that links Tunisian fab labs How to join Watch OpenFab Tunisia events for the next Repair Cafe date and venue. Past cafes met at Orange Digital Center; future ones may move. Arrive with your item and patience; entry is described as free. Why it matters in Tunis A café table full of screwdrivers turns e-waste into an afternoon with strangers who teach you how things work. Good to know - Is the repair cafe still monthly? The site lists past cafes; check the events page for the next date rather than assuming a fixed Saturday. - Can I volunteer as a fixer? Contact OpenFab through their site if you have repair skills to share. - Is there a makerspace address? MAKEinette sits at 19 Boulevard Ali Trad, Tunis 1089 for plastic recycling demos.

Source & repost Shared here so you can get inspired or find action already happening near you. Solarpunker does not own or organise it.
