Tokyo repair cafe at VIOLETTI shop

Tokyo repair cafe at VIOLETTI shop VIOLETTI zero-waste shop in Tokyo hosts a monthly repair cafe where neighbours fix clothes beside volunteer toy doctors who mend playthings for the next child. What you can do in Tokyo - Drop in on the second and fourth Saturday afternoon sessions (13:00 to 15:00) with one broken item to try (VIOLETTI repair cafe) - Learn visible mending and simple fixes without buying new first - Watch toy hospital volunteers work within size limits listed on the event page - Browse the shop's circular economy displays before or after your repair slot How to join No reservation is required for the regular repair cafe rhythm described on the shop site. Arrive with your item, closed-toe shoes, and patience; toy repair accepts one small piece per family as the notice explains. Why it matters in Tokyo A department store block away, a darning circle and a glued toy prove that joy and less waste can share the same table. Good to know - Can non-residents come? The shop states people outside Nerima Ward may still join the cafe. - Are all toys accepted? The toy hospital page sets a combined size limit per family; read it before you queue. - Is there a fee? The repair cafe drop-in is described as free; the shop sells other goods separately.
