A beloved festival takes its first zero waste steps
Friends of the Earth Cyprus partnered with the Municipality of Limassol to introduce zero waste principles at the Limassol Wine Festival: one of the island's most popular annual events. The programme included a waste audit to map waste streams and identify the biggest sources, plus a refill station at the Municipal Gardens venue. The audit found organic waste to be the largest single stream, shaping the priorities for future editions.
