A municipal lending library for household tools and equipment
Santa Margarida i els Monjos, a small municipality in the Penedès wine region south of Barcelona, opened the first Biblioteca de les Coses (Library of Things) supported by Rezero's advisory and funding search services. Residents can borrow household tools, appliances, and equipment instead of buying items they only need occasionally: reducing production demand and saving money.
When & where
- Recurring borrowing hours at the municipal cultural and services centre, Santa Margarida i els Monjos, Penedès
- Check the municipality's services centre schedule for Library of Things opening times
What you can borrow

- Garden tools, ladders, cleaning equipment
- Items vary by library: the model expands through Rezero's municipal support programme
